Textur Lacing Technique

Create fabulous lift with Sam Villa’s Textur® iron in this technique called Textur Lacing.

Textur Lacing Technique Step 1

Isolate a triangle section and secure with a clip. Take horizontal sections from the back of the triangle section. Place the Textur® iron at mid-shaft and compress lightly while sliding the iron down the shaft to build volume at the base.

Textur Lacing Technique Step 2

Continue sectioning forward from the back of the triangle and repeat to build a good, solid base for the "pomp." For this look, we left approximately 1/2" of fringe out to play with for the finished look

Textur Lacing Technique Step 3

Spray Redken Forceful 23 Super Strength Finishing Spray at least 6 inches from the head for maximum control.

Textur Lacing Technique Step 4

Using the Sam Villa Styling Brush, brush heavy handed working through the hair to begin forming the "pomp." You want to be able to see the texture created by the Textur® iron. Spray Redken Forceful 23 Super Strength Finishing Spray for maximum control and shape memory.
