Center parts can be tough to break, most hair falls into place by default and likes where it lands.
Sam Villa has a trick for training hair to embrace change, softening the part area so multiple styles can be worn:
- Using a professional paddle brush, brush a slice of hair diagonally across the part with the nozzle of the professional ionic blow dryer.
- Professional Blow Dryer positioned close and parallel to the brush with heat on medium. Continue slice by slice until the entire part is covered.
- Then, change directions and take slices from the opposite side of the part diagonal and over working from back to front. Hair is dried in an "X" pattern over the part on medium heat to break the bonds so they can be reformed. If you have a stubborn growth pattern, use a fine-toothed comb instead of a paddle brush. Professional combs grab hair closer to the scalp compressing it more, and this combined with heat, enables more of the hair strand to be altered.
