Tilted Fringe

Lya Navarra

Author Lya Navarra

Fringe comes and goes, but it’s different this season. It’s still heavier with chewed edges, but now it’s tilted to add rawness, personality and movement, as seen here in this Versace ad.

The shorter side of the fringe is usually closer to where the part starts, opening up one eye for an edgy statement.

And the great thing about it is, it can be worn messed up and textured by simply working Redken Matte Sponge 05 through with hands or super sleek.

For super sleek, apply Redken iron shape 11 finishing thermal spray and use the fine teeth of a comb underneath each section (teeth facing toward you) and position the Sam Villa professional flat iron on top of the teeth of the comb and slowly comb through the section with the outside edge of the iron on top of the comb to smooth. Finish with Redken Control Addict 28.
