When using a razor I prefer to cut on dry hair. I begin by prepping the hair with Redken shine flash 02 glistening mist to buffer hair and give it a little more slip against the razor. There is one question I'm constantly asked and that is, "How often should I change out my razor blade?" I recommends changing the razor blade every other cut (depending on the texture of the hair), if not every cut, to ensure a clean slice. Coarser hair dulls the blade quicker, as does holding the blade at the wrong angle.
