pretty good, however…

shears work great, cuts like butter and the swivel has done wonders for my wrist. I do wish they would give you more inserts for the fingers, the ring finger hole is just a little too big.

Too small

I usually cut hair with a 5.75 they had a 5.5 or 6.0
I went with the 5.5 unfortunately they are insanely small. Hard to use and cause tons of fatigue in my wrist.

Here are some tips to help you get used to your crane-handle shear.

Most stylists are not used to a crane handle. They are used to off-set handles and keeping their elbow up and the blade down, cocking their wrist to make the blade horizontal - keep your elbow at your side from 0 degrees to about 90% at the head - lift when you go to layer and point cut. With the crane handle, work the thumbhole with the TIP of the thumb (it's not good to have your thumb all the way through the ring hole). Some stylists will take the finger rings out to get their thumb to fit all the way into the hole and this is not good.

Busy stylists, such as yourself, get frustrated that this design slows them down at first. Try to commit to working healthier - ergonomically. Times vary with how long it will take you to get used to the crane handle and may require a bit of getting used to. Most stylists state it takes 2–4 days to acclimate.
